To meet the challenges that our Research Program has set itself, a multi-level governance structure has been defined to guarantee the neutrality, quality and transparency of our work:
Governance Team
The PEPR SPIN programme is led by a governance team responsible for the scientific direction and operational management of the programme. It ensures effective coordination between the various bodies and the research teams involved.

Institutional Committee
The Institutional Committee of PEPR SPIN is responsible for the strategic steering and validation of the programme’s orientations. It brings together representatives from CNRS (CNRS Physics and CNRS Engineering), CEA and the three associated universities — Université Paris-Saclay, Université Grenoble-Alpes and Université de Lorraine — in conjunction with UDICE and France Universités.
The Committee meets annually to assess the programme’s overall performance, its compliance with the initial proposal, and its alignment with the strategies of the partner institutions and France 2030. A first meeting was held on 29 April 2025 via videoconference, followed by a second on 11 July 2025.

Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee of PEPR SPIN is tasked with evaluating and positioning the scientific progress of ongoing projects against the state of the art. It also examines the scope and effectiveness of international collaborations and partnerships, the potential for technology transfer, industrial engagement, and prospects for breakthroughs in the field of spintronics.
Beyond this evaluation role, the Committee provides strategic recommendations on the future directions of the programme, including potential areas for expansion or refocusing. It also supports the governance team in the preparation and management of the programme’s mid-term review.
The Committee’s first meeting took place on 25 March 2026. The next session, scheduled for 2 July 2026, will focus on work related to the evaluation report.
